Our Story

Welcome to Ashwini Kidney Trust

Ashwini Kidney Trust has been formed in 16 February 2007 and duly registered with the charity commissioner with the registration number E 2049. The various activities of the trust are as described below: Training of various categories of health workers including doctors, nurses, paramedical staff such as laboratory technologists, dialysis technicians, social workers, dieticians, pharmacists, etc. Notable amongst these are the involvement in teaching of dialysis technicians in the courses run by Bhaiyaji Pandharipande National College of Social Sciences, Nagpur under the aegis of the RTMNU.

Ashwini Kidney Trust is dedicated to preventing kidney disease and promoting lifelong kidney health through awareness, education, and early intervention. We believe that prevention is the most powerful treatment—and that every person deserves the knowledge and support to protect their kidney health.

Founded with a mission to reduce the growing burden of kidney disease, our work focuses on empowering individuals and communities to make informed lifestyle choices. Through health education, screening programs, and collaboration with healthcare professionals, we aim to shift the focus of kidney care from treatment to prevention.

At Ashwini Kidney Trust, our mission is to prevent kidney disease through education, awareness, and proactive community engagement. We are committed to empowering individuals with the knowledge, skills, and motivation to take charge of their kidney health long before disease develops.

Our focus lies in bridging the gap between medical expertise and public understanding. Through health education programs, awareness campaigns, and early screening initiatives, we aim to make kidney health a household priority. We strive to ensure that every individual—irrespective of age, background, or geography—understands the simple, everyday choices that protect kidney function and prevent chronic disease.
